The Malscher Gorges

South of Malsch, towards Muggensturm, halfway up on the left, there are several gorges; these are mainly the small Münchwingertklamm, the Aspenklamm and the Heckelbachklamm. The Münchwingertklamm and the Klausenheck hollow road and Bruchweg are used as agricultural roads. - Steep slopes and lots of old wood lying across the path make the gorges impassable, but this is good for the wildlife; these are the last refuges. - Gorges are enchanted, geologically rare natural phenomena and should not be entered.

Morning time...

Before sunrise or shortly after, there is often a wonderful, mysterious light. The red wavelengths can create a fantastically warm atmosphere even at sub-zero temperatures.
